We strive to bring you accurate and objective information on the web. We hope Two Views is a helpful content source for information based on the presentation of both information and opinion side by side.

We will attempt to provide information on a wide variety of topics, and rather than filtering various types of information that may or may not be applicable to any one individual, we will rely on the user to choose the information that is most appropriate for them. Be aware, however, that information on Two Views or any other web site should NOT be used as a substitute for professional healthcare. You should always consult your health professional before acting on any information seen on Two Views or any other web site.

The following sections detail our content policies and procedures.

Journalistic Procedures

Two Views attempts to follow the best practice journalistic principles posting newsworthy content for the Internet and in reviewing and corroborating information from other sources.

Two Views gets its content from an array of sources and we make every effort to list these sources at the bottom of every page relevant to the specific content. Two Views also believes that valuable content is available from Two Views sponsors, advertisers, and partners, but that such content must be clearly labeled. Each completed story to be published is reviewed by an editor for accuracy, appropriateness of medical language, and proper characterization of the findings. The story is reviewed and edited if need be for style, flow, punctuation, and readability. Finally, the story moves to publishing, where it is converted to HTML and published to the Two Views site.

Licensed Content

When Two Views licenses health and wellness content from third-parties for publication on our site, the Two Views will make efforts to review the third-party's editorial policies and procedures for consistency with the Two Views Editorial Policies, including without limitation the conflicts of interest policy. While the Two Views and it’s Staff may not review each page of the third-party licensed content, the Two Views Staff does review a representative sample of the content to ensure that the third-party implements the editorial policy and procedures reviewed by Two Views and that the content is accurate and relevant.

Sponsored Content and Advertising

In using our site, you will see that some content, buttons, badges and banners are labeled "Sponsored", "From Our Sponsor" or "Advertisement". This content has not been reviewed by Two Views and is not subject to this Editorial Policy. Content, buttons, badges or banners labeled "Sponsored" or "From Our Sponsor" are subject to the policy governing our Sponsors. Content, buttons, badges and banners labeled "Advertisement" are subject to our Advertising Policy.
